REAFFIRMATION

Many couples are deciding to celebrate their Wedding Anniversaries or other special occasions to re-affirm their marriage vows. It is a great opportunity to celebrate years of happy marriage, not only for your self, but also for your children or even grandchildren, friends and family.

Couples who are officially married in other Australian states or overseas countries may wish to have a Reaffirmation ceremony so that their friends and family, who were unable to attend the wedding, can celebrate the occasion with them.

As with my Wedding Ceremonies, I offer many suggestions and provide a wide selection of reading and vows to make the ceremony one that will be personal and memorable. Participation of family and friends is encouraged with readings, poems and music.

A Reaffirmation ceremony is NOT a wedding.

There are no legal requirements for this type of ceremony however satisfactory identification and proof of the original official marriage is required.

PROCESS:

Upon receipt of your enquiry, I will provide you with an introduction letter and a booklet of ceremony suggestions.

A ceremony is selected at your leisure using the ceremony suggestion booklet or using your own contribution. Your selection is made and returned to me. I will then compile the ceremony and provide you with a completed copy for your approval. A pre-ceremony meeting with you both will be arranged approximately one to two weeks before your reaffirmation. At this meeting I will discuss with you the final arrangements and the agenda of the ceremony. Also you will need to provide me with identification for both parties either, original certificate of birth or an original extract of an entry of birth in an official register and also a copy of your original Marriage Certificate.

Your reaffirmation day will be one of the most precious days that you will experience. I will be honored be able to provide you with a ceremony, which is both personal and memorable.

Testimonials

“Thank you for such a lovely Wedding Ceremony! Everyone commented on how great it was. We shall of course recommend you to everyone getting married.”

“John was the most warm and welcoming Celebrant we could have ever had an experience with. With both Adam and myself, being married before, and having an alternative religion, John took our input of our religion and beliefs into consideration and enthusiasm, and worked his best into helping us making our ceremony script the best it could be. The perfect back drop to our wedding ceremony, and John’s relaxed attitiude, our ceremony was nothing but perfect.

Thank you so much John, for all that you did for us and making our day magical.”
